Dr. Kabir Dhadda
Medical Director
Based in the Seattle area, Dr. Dhadda is a veterinarian dedicated to a “human-first” approach to animal health. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Canada, following a Bachelor of Science in Animal Health and a Master’s research project focused on probiotics. This robust academic background provides the technical foundation for his clinical work, yet he also believes the most effective medicine starts with a genuine connection to the person at the other end of the leash.
In his practice, Dr. Dhadda places a high emphasis on Internal Medicine and Pathology, utilizing an analytical, evidence-based lens to deconstruct complex cases. However, he recognizes that behind every diagnostic puzzle is a client seeking clarity and support. He prides himself on an empathetic communication style, striving to connect with clients on a personal level. By fostering a collaborative environment, he ensures that pet owners feel heard, understood, and empowered to make the best decisions for their companions.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Dhadda’s intellectual curiosity remains active through the study of analytical philosophy and the exploration of complex systems. He values the same depth in his personal life as he does in his professional one, always seeking meaningful discourse and a nuanced understanding of the world. His goal is to bridge the gap between high-level clinical expertise and compassionate, person-centered care.

Dr. Brandon Henegan
Associate Veterinarian
I’m a Washingtonian through and through—born in Spokane and raised in Vancouver, where I’ve spent most of my life. Ever since I was a kid, I looked forward to taking my dog and cat to their veterinary appointments. I loved learning something new about them each time, and that curiosity quickly grew into a lifelong passion for animals.
That passion led me to Washington State University, where I earned my degree in Animal Sciences. Whether it’s puppies, kittens, horses, or cows—I genuinely enjoy working with animals of all shapes and sizes. Eventually, this love for animal care guided me to pursue my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine.
I’m passionate about all aspects of veterinary medicine, but I’m especially drawn to preventative care, dentistry, and surgery. Surgery stands out to me because of its hands-on nature and the immediate, tangible impact it can have on an animal’s health and well-being.
I first became interested in Cara after speaking with recruiters who visited our school. But it was during my externship at Mercer Street Veterinary Hospital that I truly felt Cara was the right fit for me. The team is inclusive, driven, and deeply committed—not only to providing exceptional care to the community but also to fostering the growth and education of their staff. That culture really resonated with me and played a big role in my decision to start my veterinary career here.
When I’m not at the clinic, you’ll probably find me outdoors—hiking or kayaking with my two dogs, Penny and Spoon. They’re both named after Seahawks players, because yes, I’m one of the biggest fans you’ll ever meet!

Lukas
Veterinary Assistant
Originally from Minnesota, Lukas is excited to be starting their journey in veterinary medicine as a Veterinary Assistant. A graduate of Pima Medical Institute, this is their first role in the field, bringing fresh enthusiasm and a strong foundation of knowledge to the team.
At home, Lukas enjoys spending time with their 2-year-old cat, Milo, who keeps life fun and full of personality. They’re passionate about learning, growing, and providing compassionate care to every patient they meet.
Aidan
Veterinary Assistant
Aidan is a recent graduate of the University of Washington who joined the team in December 2025. He has several years of experience working with both small and large animals and enjoys helping pets and their people feel comfortable during their visits. Aidan is excited to continue building his clinical skills as he prepares to begin veterinary school this fall. Outside of the clinic, he loves exploring the outdoors, spending time with friends, and trying new restaurants around Seattle.
Jen P
Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist
Jen is a California transplant who moved to Washington a few years back to escape the everlasting heat of the valley. They have been working in the veterinary field for roughly two years, though their love for animals stretches back to the day they were born. Their favorite part of working in this field is getting to aid the wide range of unique patients that come through our doors. While Jen does not have any pets of their own in Washington just yet, they have a couple of family fur babies back home–a black Labrador mix named Valkyrie, and a chunky tuxedo kitty named Ghost. During their free time, you can find them wandering Mount Rainier and the surrounding mountains, tide pooling and rock hounding, and organizing with their community members.
Sophie
Staff
Sophie’s family swears that she started asking for a dog as soon as she learned to speak. She began showing, grooming, and training dogs at 10 years old through the Snohomish County 4H program and has worked with animals her whole life in various capacities. Now, she spends her time with her 2 beloved boys, Jet the Welsh Springer Spaniel and Bouncer the Beauceron, competing in AKC dog shows, hiking, and attending herding training on the weekends.
